Charity Wickliffe is the Piano Instructor at Music Makers Piano.
She started picking out little piano tunes and begging her parents for piano lessons as a bitty girl and was thrilled to begin piano classes at the age of 8. It was the start of a wonderful musical journey!
Charity studied piano with several lovely local teachers over the years and they always encouraged her to share her music. Some of these opportunities to share have been accompanying the Mount Olive University choir, children's choirs and solo musicians, playing for weddings and other special events, collaborating with other musicians to play at senior centers & for her church's worship service & accompanying several Junior Broadway Musicals and Missoula Children’s Theatre shows. While in Wilmington, NC, she served as the Secretary for her local MTNA branch.
As a college student, her love for music led Charity to pursue a music degree. She holds a degree in Piano Pedagogy from Campbell University. She has taught for over 20 years, both with Asbury School of Music and her own private piano studio in NC. With a recent move to TX, she is thrilled to offer lessons convenient to students in Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Cedar Hill and Arlington.
The studio is conveniently located in Grand Prairie, TX, just South of Hwy 20 off the S. Great Southwest Parkway.
